I've tried this 4 times now. The secret is spraying the chicken as it cooks. This is now the favourite food all my guests ask for when I bbq! 🙂

what kind of oil should i use to spray on the chicken, looks crunchie and yummy 😋😋

@@JL-qk2sk I use the ‘one-cal per spray’ type but any oil that can be sprayed on should do the trick. Don’t be upset if the first try isn’t perfect,it takes a bit of practice.

@OliverLeveritt Жыл бұрын
If you can cook bone-in thighs and legs, you can cook bone-in breasts. Grill them to 165° and remove from heat. White meat is done at 165°. Dark meat requires higher internal temperature, hence the higher temps he mentioned in the video.

First, this NOT a complaint in any way. Next... I've done this 4 times now in my BGE, and no matter what I do, no matter how much I monitor for high enough heat, that first flip leaves wayyy too much of the awesome exterior on the grates. I've sprayed with 500+ def cooking oil (both the grates and the food), you name it... it's truly perplexing! My question, in a truly "indirect" cook, I feel like I could go full "no flip" until it's done (maybe spritzing with said cooking oil along the way if it looks too dry). Thoughts?

@@PostalBarbecue I'll share it here so all the peeps can enjoy. Took a 3# pork loin, cup or so of flour. Added my favorite seasoning at the time which was Cavenders All Purpose Seasonins!🤣🤤 It is MSG. SO USE YOUR FAVORITE SEASONINS!🤣🤤 I didn't use the egg wash, but you could put egg wash in a shallow aluminum pan and flour in another pan. Flour it, egg it and flour again. Use brush and fingers to cover the ends. Stick it with rotisserie rod and secure. I made a extension on my kettle for the rotisserie and used charcoal and cherry wood. As it starts to cook after 30 minutes or so, start spraying with Pam butter or duck fat. Take it up to 150deg IT and remove to let it rest lightly covered. I'm thinking next time using a little yellow mustard for a binder and maybe not a egg wash.
