I recently learned about goblet squats (seen it around for a few years, but never observed it with interest), and began doing them this week. This vid further added to my understanding of them, thank you.

Great video. Inspired me to start including the goblet squat in my workouts. Such a natural clean way to engage your whole body and mind.

Indebted to you for the workouts that you are suggesting and a deconstruction of how we really should be doing those exercises. We are ignorant of how to really push ourselves but you are adding to our need to really push us forward ,keep these coming. Would appreciate a tutorial on a mace workout.

Great! And what about two bells squad: are there any diffs in movement, and how to hold them proper way?

Thank you for another informative video, Sir! I'm still working on mastering the moves from your - 8 Top Kettlebell Exercises for Beginners. Where would you suggest we purchase those resistance bands? Thanks for your time!

Great video man. Kettlebells are a lost art. I love being in the minority of people that use them.

And what about the double racked KB squat? Which is better or just different?
@CoachMANdler2 жыл бұрын
Just different. BOTH effective anterior loaded squat variations!
@Charliemmafan2 жыл бұрын
Great video and content as always keep it coming but I don't think any squat variation really works the hamstrings much at all honestly, I do believe that goblet squats just like front squats actually hit the quads more than back squats because they focus on the quads more because you have to stand more upright but no squat variations really hit the hamstrings much, they hit the quads, lower back some and glutes quite a bit but to really hit the hamstrings a decent amount and even your lower back more and also your glutes more also you have to do deadlifts and especially even moreso stiff-legged deadlifts or Romanian deadlifts because squats don't hit the hamstrings in particular good enough in my opinion which is why for anyone that uses kettlebells or dumbbells only really like at home by themselves being frugal with only a little bit of equipment to get a true full body workout with the minimum amount of exercises you have to do 1 squat variation and 1 deadlift variation for example Goblet Squats and Romanian Deadlifts and that would work your lower body good enough for anyone that wants to be a minimalist but just doing 1 of those exercises only for your lower body wouldn't be enough really and anyone and everyone should do both then move on to the more showy muscles of the upper body after that after doing the hardest work of the lower body and the most functional movements by then doing something like a chest press then a bent over row then a shoulder press then arm curls then a single dumbbell overhead with both hands like a French press which would complete a simple 7 type full body workout done 3 times a week with maybe 3 sets each or something like that but goblet squats alone don't hit the hamstrings enough.
@CoachMANdler2 жыл бұрын
It does when done properly. Do this...Root your feet into the ground and actively push your knees apart WHILE going through the entire squat process (anterior or posterior loaded). When you do this, you'll automatically activate both glutes and hamstrings. Make sure when doing this though you initiate the squat by hinging your hips BACK instead of down.
@Charliemmafan2 жыл бұрын
@@CoachMANdler ok I'll try it and keep up the good content.
