Yo mine makes a static noise every minute and 20 seconds.. i thought it was my monitors but i disconnected them and used some headphones and the same sound came through them as well.. is mine messed up.? I think it might be wated damaged would that make it like that??

this is one of the most helpful videos I've watched.... I did a live stream concert a few weeks back and the sound kept dipping and going very quiet during it with the set up I was using. I've bought this mixer in the hopes I can have a another go at it but I had no idea what to do with all the knobs and buttons so this is pretty darn incredible and useful to a novice.

So, if you just want to raise the overall volume of everything (say at a gig where the crowd is loud and they can't hear you), what do you use to do that? The red stereo level button in the bottom right? Or the volume on the actual speaker?

If the red master volume knob is at unity, most likely you can turn up the music for that particular music channel using the white knob.

Many thanks for your complete review, could please share info about the usb cable ? My MG10XU keep give noise sound out randomly when usb cable connected to pc/laptop, but when I try to connect through line 5-10 and the usb cable unplugged there is no noise sound out.

question @kettnercreative given device acts as sound card. 1. when playing youtube video, when i make adjustment on the effects, equalizer or both at the mixer, will it push those to the sound card and available when recorded? 2. when singing using mic, when i make adjustment on the effects, equalizer or both at the mixer, will it push those to the sound card and available when recorded? 3. when i play a karaoke video in youtube, and sing with it using the mixer as sound card, will there be a delay between the mic and the youtube video? so on a Yamaha MG10 (non usb) i connect 3.5 to dual ts to either 3/4 xlr combo or 5/6 trs level it mix output xlr to speakers add mic channel 1, add aux use aux send back to line in on pc to get mic that way i get mic on pc and audio from pc to speakers without hearing mic on speakers? balanced vs unbalanced trs/ts cable under 4-6 meter does it matter for noise as all these inputs are unbalanced? is there a way for balanced input or is that not needed? the mg10xu just changes aux for fx and gives u an option to add fx to mic??(excluding usb function) ??? when adding headphones to this setup does the speaker output mute itself aswell?? im assuming no and the phones has seperate volume knob above the main level bottom right, the xu has stereo mute button i assume that mutes speakers output thats all the questions i have, would help as im purchasing my first set of studios, i game and play guitar too

I appreciate the video but you did not mention how to connect the Shure MV7X XLR to the camera as well as the computer? Does the audio interface have the input for the cable that connects the camera to the mic? You see with my blue yeti there is an input that the camera has as well that looks exactly the round input for old wired headphones and I connected one end to the camera and the other to the mic, how is it done in this case please ?

Excellent Tutorial! Question: When output via USB to a laptop to record (as shown in the video), is it then possible to connect desktop speakers to your laptop's headphone output for monitoring? I'm guessing that routing is possible via your sound control panel or Quicktime setting, but thought I'd ask here.

We just purchased one Harbinger MSL1000 array speaker. On the Yamaha MG10XU, if I have one XLR plugged in the left speaker jack, do I have to pan the mics to the left?
