Geordie here, aye, we northerners do say it. I swear we northerners are the closest to the Scottish language without actually being Scottish, we say canny, nowt, owt, oot, withoot, aboot, aye & yem, tho I think Scots spell it hyem but ya man what I mean potato/tatey/tattie. We’re also the closest to Jamaican without being Jamaican lol,as we say watta, alreet, aye man, nar man & if we pronounce bacon or beer can just thick enough in our accents it’s got that slight Jamaican rhythmic twang to it, but what one are we saying, beer can or bacon, only we know as we say both exactly the same…context clues needed for pua ootsidaz 😂
