Always will be, for the rest of my life and beyond. The Animated Series, the animated movies, Batman Beyond, Justice League, JLU, Arkham Series. The fact that he will live on forever through so much content is the best part about his legacy. Him and Hamill will always be Batman and the Joker.

God bless Kevin’s soul. Great Batman, Fantastic human being. This is probably one of the best Kevin Conroy interviews I’ve seen online.

I learned a lot from this episode: -In order to be the best, most well-rounded actor one can be, one has to be the best, most well-rounded *person* one can be. -When you're doing a long run of a show/play with looooooooong expository monologue, you've got to get extra creative to keep it fresh for yourself and interesting for the audience, and give back exactly what your stage partner is giving you. -When you've graduated from a big conservatory and are getting your first work truly independent of it, you've got to get prepared to discard what you've learned in your training as completely useless, and go back to acting 101. -Being a well-rounded person in your own right will allow you to make the best use of the training on offer in a place like Julliard. -Going through the process of finding character organically yourself is really important, shortcutting it makes it suffer, and should NOT be directed by one's fellow actors, leave that to the director. And the saddest one: -A traumatic childhood that increases the stakes of needing to make it in acting gives one unprecedented motivation and a very truthful understanding of classic drama like Shakespeare. It was truly all or nothing for Kevin Conroy, and he did it amongst stellar company, including Christopher Reeve, Robin Williams and John Hausman to name but a few. What a life, and a life well lived. 💜

I definitely did. The part where he invites his mom to see his broadway opening also made me shed a tear.

Recently I have been going through some financially hard times. I have a link for a go fund me page to help pay my bills this month. Anything would be helpful. I'm an Afghanistan combat vet that is currently waiting on the VA to process my claim but my truck has broke down and I lost my job recently. Here is the link if you would like to help.
