I did bring up MJ’s struggles against the tougher conference and dynasty Celtics before he had one iota of help to succeed. As soon as he got an Andrew Wiggins caliber of a teammate (Pippen), he overcame diversity to beat the Pistons and Lakers, which were both favored to meet in the finals. And I’ll skip to address another point. Lebron hasn’t been coachable his whole career, but he did have a carbon copy of Pat Riley in Spo, whom attempted to help him grow. They did have to use trickery to help Lebron grow slightly in mentality. Riley asked Lebron to play a style like Magic, Wade like Bryant, and Bosh like Garnett when he pitched his recruitment to Lebron. After a year of Lebron refusing his role to hog all the stats instead of helping teammates grow, Riley went to Wade and asked him if he’d take a step back for the betterment of the team because Lebron wouldn’t. Wade obliged and Lebron grew slightly in mentality, even winning his first title after the previous year meltdown. Bosh was projected to average a career high in rebounds but after Lebron pushed him to run the floor, so Lebron himself could get those stats, Bosh had a career low. Lebron competed with Wade for stats more than opposing teams, so the team had to take a different route once they realized Lebron wasn’t about team growth but rather achieving his own stats over winning. But Lebron would leave this great coaching and management once the going got slightly tough, although they would’ve surrounded him consistently with help as their history suggests. Don’t act like you haven’t noticed the Lakers management rift with Lebron this year. They wouldn’t even trade at the deadline for him but rather put their failures on him, and rightly so. Lebron forced Russ to play off the ball, knowing good well that he couldn’t play this style. Russ went from several triple double seasons to not catching any rhythm as Lebron’s teammate. But Lebron sure did get his stats, didn’t he? He wasn’t willing to set the tone on defense for the betterment of the team, or share basketball duties. You know MJ averaged over 11 assists in his first finals. MJ also once averaged 32.5/8/8 for an entire season on less possessions than in today’s game, proving he could play a style like Lebron while playing elite offense and defense. But when Phil asked MJ to hand certain basketball duties to Pippen, for the betterment of the team, MJ obliged like great leaders do. Pippen may have only been a Wiggins caliber of a teammate, but MJ only needed a little help to succeed. And Pippen had his greatest stats with the Bulls. Almost all of Lebron’s teammates have had their worst career stats next to him. And despite Lebron having the most help to succeed all-time, all of his team have losing records when he’s on the bench because they’re so dependent on his stat racking style. Teams don’t have a coaching system with Lebron. It’s the Lebron system. So they can’t get it together without him because that would require developing two systems which is impossible if he’s on the floor for 50+ games. Lebron’s a freak athlete, with durability along with longevity on his side. His all-around style is good but not as great as many think since it doesn’t allow his teammates to excel with him. And his style, along with having multiple handpicked all-stars, vetran minimum notables, and shooters taking less money to completely stack rosters, results in some finals wins along with some losses. But MJ did what it took to win in championship opportunities and never lost at the highest level… Kawhi has the closest shooting chart and defensive mindset of anyone playing today, to MJ. Lebron has a losing record in the regular season and postseason against Kawhi teams. Lebron also has his worst stats and efficiency when only counting minutes guarded by Kawhi compared to being guarded by anyone else in the league. Just imagine if Kawhi was far more athletic, with much better unguardable signature moves, hustled like Westbrook, had a mentality like Kobe, durability of Lebron, trash talking head games of Bird, much more efficient, a better leader, a better finisher, better at getting steals, better at blocks, a much better passer, quicker, stronger, higher basketball IQ etc etc etc… Then Kawhi would be a little more like MJ. So if Kawhi poses such problems for Lebron, imagine what MJ would do to him… There was less emphasis put on 3’s in MJ’s era so he practiced and shot less but worked at everything important in that era. MJ also shot above the average 3 point percentage in his era. Lebron shoot’s below the average 3 point percentage in this era, so MJ would have no issue with that in today’s game. The only 3 seasons that MJ attempted over three 3 point attempts, this was his average… 89-90 - 37.6% 96-97 - 37.4% 95-96 - 42.7% (Higher than Lebron has ever shot for a season, although he practices it more) So MJ proved he could do anything he worked at very well. If he’d practiced shooting 3’s as much as players do in this era, he would have no issues shooting over that 42.7% from beyond the arc that he averaged in the 95-96 season… Over his entire basketball career, Michael Jordan played for 11 championships. He never lost: NCAA Championship: 1-0 Olympic Gold Medals: 2-0 FIBA Gold Medals: 2-0 NBA Championships: 6-0 Moreover, Jordan remains the only player in NBA history to win: MVP, FMVP, DPOY, and ROTY. MJ’s also 24-0 in playoff series where he has home court advantage… Congrats to LeBron for surpassing MJ on the All-time Scoring List. It only took him… -150 more games -4,942 more minutes -868 more free throws -3.202 more 3-pointers

It actually irritates me how delusional Broussard is about the nets and how he talks about the nets with such conviction. Just won't let it go and talks out of the side of his neck when he talks about them. How many seasons will it take for him? How many first round exits? Will not making the playoffs finally shut Chris up? Miami and the bucks are already going to get better next year. 76ers are right there. The nets would be 6th seed at best. The nets bench and rebounding won't all of a sudden get better. The nets lack of defense won't get all of a sudden better. Even if Ben does play. It's not like Ben is the best defensive person in the league. Ben will average 12 points if he plays....

When a report comes out that says KD is willing to sit the season if they don't trade him, then Chris won't have an argument anymore. He's hoping KD stays so KD can win 😂 he don't care about that man

Nick Wright is so biased when it comes to the Nets. What does he want Steve Nash to do? Look at last year alone. Joe Harris doesn't play because of two ankle surgeries. Kyrie decides to not get the vaccine. Harden cries his way out and they get a player who doesn't play and needed back surgery. The year before Kyrie rolls his ankle in the playoffs and Harden strains his hamstring. Durant told Nash not to worry about him and to play him. Even after all that, to quote Skip Bayless, they came within a toenail of making the Finals. When healthy and all 3 playing I think they were 13-3 or something.

I'm starting to think this is why KD requested a trade. So that the lead story every day will be about him and the Nets. Not a single mention of Boston the last couple days, who made probably the best move in FA and took over the best odds for the 2023 title.
