Kevin Garnett was what you call currently as a “Unicorn”, other Power forwards in this era can be categorized with the title like Dirk Nowitzki and Chris Webber, you have to wonder what type of impact would these guys have if they played in a modern setting, where spacing and shooting is prioritized in the game

Very true. Guys like Kevin Garnett and Dirk Nowitzki are once in a generation type. Without a doubt.

HE HAVE MOST BEAUTIFUL SWITCH FADE. I THINK ONLY KOBE AND OLAJUWON MASTER THAT SHOOT. MOST DIFFICULT FROM WRONG PIVOT OF DIFFERENT SHOULDER COUNTER MOVE. EVEN JORDAN DIDNT LEARNED THAT. KOBE OF COURSE LEARNED FROM HAKEEM AND KG. GARNETT ACTUALLY HAD 2 DIFFERENT MOVES OF WRONG PIVOT FOOT WHILE OLAJUWON RATHER USES HOP AND AWAY, THE KG MOVE WAS HOP IN UNEXPETED DUE TO HIS SIZE AND HANG TIME HE CAN FADE IN OR PIVOT TOWARD DEFENDER LITERALLY IN HIS FACE. THE ONLY THING OLAJUWON DID BETTER IS COUNTER PIVOT SPIN NEAR BASELINE. I MEAN KG HAVE HUGE HANDS HIS SPIN IS NOT PERFECT AND ITS BIT SLOWER WHILE OLAJUWON WRONG FOOT PIVOT SPIN LITERALLY LOOKS LIKE DREAM COMES TRUE.

That’s not a travel. KG knows people think it’s a travel he has talked about it before. When establishing a possession that first step that looks like a pivot isn’t a pivot. He did this his whole career.
