@@deanhowell5936 Each club certainly does have their own unique support. No one can argue against the atmosphere at Anfield, especially on European nights, or Dortmund's yellow wall etc. I've been to a Milan derby for example and that exceeds anything I've ever seen in football. I do think though that Newcastle has more similarities to Scottish football support than England - the support is on a level with Celtic than any other English club for me.
@Charlieb823 жыл бұрын
@@deanhowell5936 I think the big difference is the misunderstanding and misconception that most people (and probably mostly pundits) have towards the toon and our supporters. The old misconception of unrealistic expectations is always trotted out, yet you never hear it mentioned for any other club. The only expectations we have is for every player to give 100% effort and to entertain, as football should be played. We don't work all week to sit bored, we want to enjoy the games. KK is right about getting beat too - I was at both Liverpool 4-3 away games and although it was gutting to be beaten both times it was a great spectacle and even talking to the Liverpool fans outside the ground on the way to the car was a class experience of both sets of supporters just enjoying the moment together of seeing an unbelievable game (and the amazement of it happening the following year)
