Racism, religion and blasphomy been here since day one. People who have power to make an impact wont do so as Prince said, they want to protect their image, followers etc but we forget about the human race in the whole. All hate needs to be removed, this has to start from governments to put into society as crime. But hate on colour of skin and religion of someones belief is disgusting and from experience as im asian and muslim have been called all sorts, problems with employment. Its everywhere and Black and Asian people are in the dark and not the same protection etc

We definitely need to create change for govt everywhere through voting and legal means (depending on which govt, of course, that will be different), but it starts grass roots, so keep on influencing others by educating those immediately around you, and connecting with those who feel the same and with those who trust you in a different light. We will never see a complete turnover, but we CAN impact positively our individual small societies by educating ourselves, asking hard questions, encouraging thoughtful conversations, and listening. If it's about power, those are harder to influence. If it's about resentment, listen to those people's stories and feelings... although it seems ridiculous...those are the people who feel they've never been heard. Many times, when those people are heard, they are then willing to listen...then the education can begin. Win people over sincerely. Never give up S A

@@user-10.10. If you have a victim mentality you would ask that because you are insecure enough to worry about how that affects you and your life. For the rest of people we want to see fairness for all people so really want to help our black friends out when they face marginalisation and death as we see it all through UK, Europe and the world. It's kind of like when someone has cancer in america, I frankly just want to beat cancer so nobody suffers from it and the fact that it is an american doesn't make a difference to the fact that cancer affects people around the world to greater or lesser or different degrees. The point of people's ideas is to listen to people and bring an understanding so that equality is for all people affected.

you seem like a good person and it makes total sense what you're saying. It's just that a lot of the world have treated black people really bad and created a society where a police officer can just murder someone in the middle of the day or people just shoot black people because..well they may have caused a crime..a reason isn't really necessary. Obviously you're from Holland so you're correctly saying that all people are equal so it doesn't make to much sense to you. The protests are about telling people like you how black people feel. And Boateng is trying to articulate some of that here. Now, I know I've said you're a good person for wanting equality but i guess and well hope you understand if people feel upset or marginalised ....like sinterklass and the black face on of all things a ship to show a slave ship..that kind of stuff is kinda offensive and make people feel they are not equal
