Just a word of advice : If your doctor tells you your blood pressure is high, do something about it immediately. If you're hypertension 1 there is things you can do to get it back to normal without having to take BP pills the rest of your life. If you let it progress like I did to hypertension 3 at that point its too late. You will have to take BP pills to lower it enough to exercise but it takes awhile. I was told when I was 28 and I'm 44 now. I had 16 years to take it serious but I didn't. When they say it's a silent killer it is true. You may feel normal but your blood vessels are under intense pressure. For me I was waking up in the middle of the night or early mornings with the worst throbbing headache of my life. Every time my heart beats my brain throbs. Stay away from salt, stay away from sugar! I have to take 3 blood pressure pills, a water pill, and a pill to lower my cholesterol. It is a dangerous condition you can't ignore or you are a ticking time bomb.

@@SerV689 African American men and women have the highest percentage of hypertension in the world and I've been active my entire life. Almost everyone in my family has the condition or diabetes. Sometimes it hits you when you're very young and some around mid thirties. We die from stroke, heart disease, or something cardiovascular related. Several of my loved ones died young from stroke. My father had 2 strokes a year ago and now he can barely speak or walk. My son is 6foot7 big kid, 19 years old, he's on blood pressure pills. My oldest daughter is 16. She's a 6ft tall broom stick and she started taking blood pressure meds before she had her period. True story! African Americans are also sodium sensitive. It is documented information that we retain sodium more than any set race which also causes fluid retention and a elevated blood pressure. That is why the doctors prescribe water pills along with blood pressure pills to stop fluid retention. So you have to drink tons of water. Part of the problem is the food but there are other deciding factures I will not get into. But for the most part no one can give a clear answer on why hypertension is so prevalent among black people. It is definitely something that will lay dormant until you do something to activate it or I don't know. I'm 6 foot 3 200lbs by the way and I used to work out 7 days a week. So I'm not over weight!

I drink "Green Drinks" if you don't know what that is. do your research. basically Veggie Drinks (REAL Veggie Drinks) like Bolthouse Farms(yeah they can be pricey, but there's NO PRICE on MY HEALTH), ALSO there's Other "GREEN DRINKS" out there that're NOT as Pricey as Bolthouse Farms again DO-YOUR-RESEARCH. Another Thing Is I make / create a "Green Shake" that i buy regularly from Amazon / Walmart (which ever is cheaper at the time of purchase). its basically a " Green Drink" comes powder Form, i also purchase "Beet Juice" and mix all of that together as 1 drink (most of the time) sometimes i make them separately. but my point is this STUFF isn't EXPENSIVE at all. the container is $12-$14 USD at the most. you take 2-3 scoops and mix with regular facet water / bottle water i use both (again depends on if I'm home, or not) and Viola' . i take multi-vitamins, Fish Oil's, Soya Capsules, Ginger with Turmeric Capsules, and every now and then a natural T in a capsule. NOT a BOOSTER. don't' use boosters( that's temporarily only) use ALL Naturals 100% of the Time if you can. - Cheers !

Interesting that his high blood pressure caused his death. And yet shortly before he died he complained of chest pains. A lot of people having chest pains these days. Heart attacks happening to younger and younger folk....hypertension? 🤔 Well if they say so. Just sad he's not here.

yes, if you don't know that your blood pressure is north of 160/90+ for years, that pressure on your heart builds up. By the time you feel chest pains it could already be decades of damage done to your heart. thats why its the silent killer
