Thank you so much! 4 minutes in and I got my answer. I really need the 3 button navigation for Chrome; it was driving me nuts having to reopen a search every time I wanted to look at a different website for same search to get what I needed. Now with the 3 button search I can just hit the back arrow and choose a different website for same search. The Swipe was fine for everything else. Thanks again.

you can swipe away from the side of the screen in order to achieve what the back arrow does.

I'm with you. I tried the gestures for a couple days. Couldn't get used to it. The gestures didn't seem like they were consistent. Sometimes one action would happen, while other times another would. Definitely went back to 3 button.

I hated not having the 3 buttons at first but gave it a week and ended up preferring the gestures. The only thing I dislike is sometimes the back gesture registers when I meant to do something else. After having the phone for a while now I wouldn't want to go back. Thankfully they give you the option instead of forcing one way on everyone.

Cool video bro! Bought this phone 7 months ago & it still runs awesome. Found another way to access the camera. Just hold down the power button and it will give U 4 options. 1. Power off 2. Restart 3. Screenshot & 4. Emergency Call. Hope this helps!👍🏼

3 button is default on Consumer Cellular motos. gestures work,too, but not very well/reliable.

Navigation buttons! Who knew? I strongly disliked the side-swipe back feature and kept deleting texts, etc. Great to have the old button option back!

Fantastic. I just received my 2020 moto g power. It is taller than I would have liked, but for now it is my learner phone. No SIM card yet as my old 3g SIM is not a nano sim, and no plan picked yet. But the wifi works, which I had no idea would! I am learning some of the navigation tips thanks to this video. I already added the permanent number row, screen time out, battery per cent indicator, etc. I am old fashioned and I guess I expected some sort of manual in the box from amazon. Online it is I reckon. Seems the flashlight shake rattle and roll does not work. Maybe I missed a setting. Mucho thanks

Adaptive performance was missed. It's not on automatically and it does improve speed over time. It's in the system settings.

Do you by chance know how to disable the Burst Mode from happening when you touch the Up Volume button? I keep touching it accidentally while taking photos and when I do, it does bursts when I just wanted a single shot. It is a real nuisance and nowhere can I find how to turn it off.

You can't rearrange the home screen if you have other screens to the left or right of it :( like prior OS's. For some reason I can't get my calendar to go to the left of my home screen, it only allows for Google feed. Can this be changed?

Hi Kevin. Have a question. I had a LG phone prior to the Motorola G With it I was able to schedule when I wanted to send a text. I really enjoyed that feature. Does the Motorola G allow me to do the same? Do I need to download and install an app to accomplish this?

Just for the people who are older out there..you don't have to shake the phone hard to activate the torch. It can be done with a simple double flick of the wrist. To activate the camera it's a motion like slowly shaking a bottle of chocolate milk. You know, a slow rolling of the wrist side to side... doesn't need to be as hard as he demonstrates in the video.

I am wondering something about the camera app. When I try to take some photos it suggests macro mode but I don't really want it. The way I see it the main camera is good enough for fine detail on a lot of shots and I rarely ever have to get so close to them that they would be a macro photo. I know macro is good for finer detail up close but I almost never really need it. I just want it to stop pestering me to use other modes like that.

Dropped their own one button nav, which was GREAT, arguably the best, and went with Google Gestures which back gestures really is quite horrible. Months later, trying several times and I've given up. Moto really have up one of the major things that kept me using them.
