Motorola makes excellent budget devices. The Moto g play 24 looks like one of the most solid $150 devices. A decent processor, stereo speakers, expandable storage, a headphone jack and likely the chespest price you'll find for such a quality device.

I just ordered one of these... my last smart phone was real hard to scroll through pages w/o body heat from hand selecting all kinds of stuff I don't want, and if I don't grab it on the edges body heat will make all kinds of changes in settings, and pocket dial ppl. DO These things DO THAT???

I just got one. One issue I'm having is when I'm texting, or just browsing on Facebook, the screen stars to dim. And then a couple moments later, it's brighten back to normal again. How do I stop this?

If so, it's probably a carrier locked version. Subsidized. They usually have less RAM and storage than the more expensive unlocked version. This device currently runs about $130.

I was wondering since I am prepaid UScellular user. They are sending me one of these new for 1 penny. Thats right almost free. So I can continue m prepaid service. I was sad since I dropped my samsung galaxy a 12 in my chickens waterer. It works but started acting up more each day since then. I see this has a different camera option and I have loved my samsung camera. I will hope this will work since only a penny is a good thing for someone on disability. I use larger fonts and dark mode that helps me see my phone better and this is much better for elderly. My brother has a $1500 Iphone and I hate it and he barely can even use it because its so complicated. I have no used a motorola in years. I did like the Moto sound effect for a while when it came on.
