My woodwork teacher was named Dickey Nut, and I shit you not, his dad's name was Harry. I wondered if his dad considered it a character builder to constantly be made fun of his whole life and he didn't want his son to miss out on a chance to develope some redeemable character traits, while he was still young, but then I actually met his dad and it turned out that he was just some kind of nutbar or something. I love Kevin and I am an American who can easily understand him. I want to see him live! American gibberish? George Carlin, Robin Williams, and Richard Pryor? How about Mel Brooks - Blazing Saddles? Please. Most of these cut across universally and then universally understood. Carlin is all about language, Robin's mania, Mel great original, classic tv and movies, and Richard was about class and 'racial' disparities. I say 'racial' because there's no difference in the way we bleed, just labels and discrimination we put on ourselves, especially in America. coming from a social scientist here.
