Such a gorgeous painting!! Something I learned early on when I first started and new painters often make the mistake: (acrylic, but same for oil) Snow is rarely pure white, in fact it's almost always bluish/purplish like in this painting. And shadows again, are rarely black - they always have a bluish or purplish flavor.

@@jh3475 I make dolls. However , they are home made and I like them to look home made. NOT a home made MESS, mind you! But one time I bought the Donna Dewberry video " learn how to paint. What a blow out that was !!! I'm left handed and she barely touched on that. Everything is backwards to me. I don't know how right handed do ANYTHING! I'd make the worlds biggest mess with a canvas and a tube of toothpaste let alone pigment.

Amazing. It seems no matter how fast you paint it always comes out a masterpiece. Is it easy enough painting for beginners? Not so sure, but I'll try to imitate Kevin and see what happens. Now dear Kevin, talking beginners I would kindly ask you for a video where you would show how to fix oopses and mistakes. Wiping off muddy colors from canvas with shop towel or palette knife or whatever, adjusting wrong colors after they already on the canvas and other tricks you'd think would be helpful for beginners. Thanks in advance 😊
