Nice video, great job. I clean carburetors exactly as you did, spraying cleaner through all passages, jets, etc. Quick tip: I now use Brake Cleaner spray, unless the carb is really gummed up. It evaporates more quickly, leaves no residue, and does not harm rubber or plastic parts. But use caution, it is flammable, just like carb cleaner.

Ok so I really think your video is great!!! I don’t want to make this sound negative at all but I have a couple of tips I do for my customers. I have/had a fleet of 80 ezgo txt 97/98 carts that I’ve “refurbished” and sold most all of them and also continue to rebuild and tune up ezgo carts. Anyway I’m really anal about working around the engine and carb or the wiring. So. The very first thing I do with a cart of mine or custome is to power wash the entire engine compartment before I even start. No I’ve never had water in carb or wiring issues from power washing. Next thing I do is brake cleaner all over the outside of carb and engine. Then a bit of carb cleaner around the carb area before I loosen a single screw or bolt You mentioned and I agree that it is not worth spending 15 mins cleaning a carb. Amazon has $19 carbs with new plugs filters etc etc. I buy carbs by the case. I would never pay my helpers to touch a carb. At $60 an hour. Chinese carbs are disposal and last about 15 years $19 carb, compression test around 150lbs. Spark plug sand blaster cleaning with carb cleaner for the Plug get sand out. Very seldom buy new plugs as long as blaster gets all carbon off. Sometimes I razor blade the carbon. 17:42 Have never bought a new air filter. Air compressor but make sure to blow the correct direction. (Unless oil or liquid such as gas that built up) Compression valve adjustment at about 4000. Sorry long story and everything on your video is spot on. Not sure about GoPro I know nothing about them. lol. Thanks for the video. Although I may loose some customers if they see it. 😂

Thanks for your great educational video's I am trying to fix a 2018 club car precedent gas that's blowing up throttle position sensor I have found 60v coming on the black/white wire to the micro switch on the FNR shifter when you put it in reverse and back across neutral it sends the current down the green wire and blows the tps have you any idea where the 60v might be coming from Thanks

If it gets slow after warm up, you need to adjust the valves. Do it on a COLD engine. I have a few videos showing this. There isn't anything to rebuild on these carbs. You will need to replace it if it cannot be cleaned. 99% of the time they can be cleaned. Fuel pumps on these either work or they don't. I wouldn't replace it unless its not pumping any fuel. I don't have any links to individual parts and I don't offer them for sale. Best place would be everything carts or buggies unlimited.

Thier is several well known sellers on E-Bay that sell remanufactured Robin 295 engines, for around $700 on yer exchange with a 6-month warranty.

Wanted to know if you could help me troubleshoot my 2017 Ezgo Valor Gas Electric? Not engaging clutch, Can hear motor start but Starter Generator got 12.8 VDC incoming?

That sounds like the engine is cranking but not actually starting. Make sure you have good spark, good fuel flow and check to make sure the air filter isn't blocked solid. You may have to remove and clean the carb.

Had to add 1 more comment to your good video. That engine sounds like it has a rod knock. I would have called the customer and recommended an oil change. It would benefit the owner with longer engine life, and bring you a bit more revenue. Many people never change their oil in carts and mowers, even their vehicles. Nothing makes an engine last longer than keeping clean oil in them.
