What about the KeyDIY KD-X2 which as well as generating a remote (to be programmed & to have a coded transponder added) but is claimed to additionally clone a key?

I have the same VVDI kit but have not used the make a flip key function. My question is about the blades used. Are the blades used particular to the VVDI system or do you use blades that suppliers sell to replace damaged units OR are they one and the same mounting for all?

The silca's are re writable but the build quality is shocking sold 10 when i first got it in the first week and had them come back over the next month or so. don't stock them anymore. where did you get the vvdi from?

Have you had trouble with remotes that were generated with KeyDiy Mini loosing signal or synchronization with the vehicle after only an hour or so??

Hi, no have not had that trouble, did you use a fresh battery ? If you did, I think you should check with key DIY support , maybe a bug , but I have not had that problem sorry

Yes, fresh battery, new remote, everything..could have just been a bad remote.. weird. I'll check with them... thanks

I live in the USA I own a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire no one supports this model any longer. I have one key left the other remote fell apart on a dark road and lost the transponder . The key I have now is very hard to find now since Chrysler and Mercedes has abandoned this car now called a Basturd car. I have tried many dealerships and even Mercedes and locksmiths wont touch it. Thanks

@@DrLockShop hello Dr lock I am on east coast of USA. I have called many dealers Chrysler and Mercedes and even people locksmiths on east coast to to Midwest no one will touch a Chrysler Crossfire because when Mercedes sold Chrysler this car basically a Mercedes SLK CLK . no one will touch it because it has. Chrysler vin number and all keys are vin related. Mercedes killed. This cute little coupe when they sold Chrysler. I love this little car but the electronics scare the Hell out of me. You can buy any mechanical part for it but when it comes to the electronics it gets bad especially when the Skreem dies or you loose a key or transponder is damaged or lost. I have working key left I bought a lots of Crossfire keys on ebay to see if I can one to link up to my car Which I believe will not work. It's a Basturd car. I wish someone would developer a bypass for this over kill security on such an old car. So like many before me have failed at this and when you could buy a new key for Crossfies the keys cost more than a Rolls Royce or Aston Martin key. Crazy huh ??? Ok maybe some car electronic person could developer a bypass for the Over kill Mercedes Skreem system.. Please someone out there build this bypass. I know every person who owns a Crossfire would buy one if reasonably priced. Otherwise our cars one by one head to the breaker yards for parts even in pristine condition. There are tons of horror stories on the net about this terrible situation. Thanks for responding... Cheers

Ryan if you go online eBay buy HU64 key have it cut at any locksmith or some local hardware store might cut it then you have a key that fits,half problem solved as for the chip dealer only.You can always cut the transponder chip carefully out and tape to your new key .Hopefully this helps .

@@delmytruelement3569 Thanks for info I found a solution I bought 8 factory remotes from a seller on ebay for $40 and I had shaved the tumblers so any key will fit in both the ignition and door lock I also took my working key and took the transponder out and glued it to the transponder antenna not all my remotes work I don't tell anyone about shaving the tumblers from the new ignition tumblers I bought I save all my factory parts. I read that the factory remotes can be programmed to any crossfire. but the transponders do not program like newer cars can. Mercedes killed these cars decades ago. I have a 2013 Mustang and I can program to another key which I had bought flip keys off ebay and they work great even starts the car after I programmed it. Mercedes has an over kill security system on an old outdated car. I have watch on youtube a few have found ways to bypass the skreem system which runs around $200. But I find that a little expensive for my high mileage car. I would pay $50 to kill the skreem forever. I hope the price goes down more people will buy it. Please be safe and stay healthy. : )

Very outdated and the KEYDIY unit being used is the absolute bare bones product. If you want to use a KEYDIY tool to compare against the others use the KEYDIY KD-X2. Then youbare comparing apples to apples instead of apples to raisins. On the VVDI Key Tool you should use the app to unlock the potential of that tool too.
