Jordan is a terrific horror director but these skits don't really prove that. I mean in this one he just copied the ending to The Shining. And he also basically copied the most famous line from When Harry Met Sally. Jordan is popular and overall very talented, but a lot of his jokes are just references to previous works/movies that are so old most people in his target audience don't know about

The end of the movie shows an old photo of hotel guests from 1921and included in it is the writer seated with them similar to how the photo in this skit shows Peele.
