In the third video of the series about key squares, IM Alex Astaneh will discuss more advanced examples for the rook-pawn and special cases and explain how to win these special cases as well as how the side without the pawn might hold a draw.
Summary:
Always look at the relative distance when you look how to reach one of the key squares. Also make sure that you choose the key square which is the relatively furthest for the defending king.

This was an amazing way to put everything together! The only thing I'd mention is showing pawns that start from initial squares since there are ideas of reserve tempi and stuff but I assume that this may be in another lesson - will subscribe for the easy to understand lessons, thank you!

I love how you take the time to explain the main concept and show how and why things work or don't work. I read many books and watched many videos on this topic, but only your explanation made me truly understand. So thank you!

These videos were really helpful for me Alex, this is by far the best explanation of this I've seen. I also really appreciate that you explained even some exceptions and little complications of the rules because I never would have thought of that stalemate trap and such without having seen this.
