Truly great advice. I hadn't really considered how crucial disability insurance is. I'd simply leave the default option during the yearly benefits renewal.

Inger Williams I agree 100%!! I was laid off from a job, but didn't realize I was paying LTD for 8yrs. As a single mom with a young son it kept us for 2 1/2 yrs. It was a TRUE BLESSING in disguise.

6 months is a safe emergency funding. Online billing helps with budget. Paying bills online credits your accounts 48 hours than 5 days mailing payment. Paying bills on time does add your credit score well. 35% credit score is based on paying bills.

Great tips, Bola! Incorporating these tips!
@sandramatos64092 жыл бұрын
A tip for buying disability insurance is to select a quite long waiting period. The cost should be more affordable. Probably a six month or one year waiting period is best since anyway those first months should be covered by the emergency fund. The cost will be very competitive.
@sandramatos64092 жыл бұрын
Another tip is not to use the same policy from your employer. If you change jobs probably they won’t provide this coverage as a benefit anymore. If they do the cost of the conversion from group to individual policy should always be greater.

The things you're always talking about is not good for just women but for men also. I put myself on a $50 a week budget to spend on myself. And anything that's left over goes into my savings as well as any other funds that's left over from my other account.

I don't mean to take you off the subject but what do you think about cryptocurrencies? Because fortunes are being made I don't see it for the long-term I'm looking at the short gains. Good friend of mine invested about $200 it's been 6 months he made $16,000.00 dollars.
@ImenBen127 жыл бұрын
juicearibe great question!! Very hyped at the moment and I would love to hear her input. And wow your friend made a lot of money!
@DewTime7 жыл бұрын
Don’t do it. It’s speculation. Warren Buffett says don’t invest in anything without inherent value. Crypto currency doesn’t make money in and of itself. You only make money by assuming someone else is willing to pay a higher price for it in the future. That’s speculation, like buying gold.
