Thanks for the video! That's awesome. Can't wait for my equipment . Xhorse Dolphin cutting machine, Max tool and mini obd coming (made mistake ordering online from China...might be a scam!) I just bought AutpProPad Full and it won't even pull PIN like that. 2006 Dodge Ram I am working on. They have software issues. I hope that purchase wasn't a mistake. Really wanted IM608pro but I didn't have enough $$$ just starting out. Thanks again!

What's the difference between "type 1" and "type 2", and why choose "type 2"? Great video! Unfortunately I'm based in Europe, and indeed, the programming part for now hasn't been very succesful with the Mini OBD. I hope software updates will make a difference.

Type one is for earlier years...earlier years have a different security system... if you select type one ..it will not connect to the vehicle..

That little orange box that plus in the bottom , is that mandatory for the handheld device or does the handheld device also come with a cord to plug 🔌 in? Also do you know if that particular device will program or clone a 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn fob? That Dolphin key cutter , does it copy off the original already made key 🔑 or just the code you get?

I put the new key in the ignition and turn the switch on (the car wont start but dash will light up)..the key is a rotary toothless key

Amigo, one thing I need to get straight, when decoding, let's say you have all the litchi number, do you actually punch all those numbers on the cutting machine, I have never seen punchimg all those number on the Kay pay cutting machine, im.gettk g confused, or what code number you use to cut the keys , please explain this

@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE mostly on how to calibrate the uncut key to the already cut key was the hardest when i first got it, i take my micrometer and test to make sure the cut is the right depth off the smartbook readings. if you take your time you can get it perfect.

Hey man love you're videos ur the man. I've got a question. I'm trying to use the obd mini to program a 18 jeep fob. its asking for a 8+12 adapter I can't seems to find one offered by xhorse have you had any success with using the key tool max and the Obd mini and an 8+12 ? Eventually I want a better tool like a pro pad but one step at a time.

I believe you need the brute force cable but im not sure If its compatible with the key tool max..
