Thank you for tour great reaction. This song is a masterpiece with many meanings. A sad song in a happy hardcore melody originated in the 90's in The Netherlands. It's about his parents who died when he was 12 and 13 years and telling what he has experienced since they passed, the crying for help, and travelling through Europa without borders and trying the best food to forget his pain, but even that couldn't help him.

He sings euro(papa).. Europa = Europe and papa is Dutch for daddy. Joost lost his father when he was 12 and his mother died a year later. His father told him the world has no borders. Joost taveled to different country's but he felt lonely, he eat food in different countries but he did'nt like ik. When Joost was a kid he watched the Eurovision with his parents and he told them he would be on that stage one day. And he did. This song was dedicated to his parents. And he made a happy song to give fait to all other orphans to achieve there goals.

Great video, you were spot on with the Mario vibe! (If you watch the official music video you can see the clip in the beginning) He made a lot of 90s references, such as the happy hardcore/gabber music ('gabber' is what we call the genre in dutch) and the dancing (we call that 'hakken' in dutch). These originate from the Netherlands in the 90s. And much more 💚 And he is quite well known as an artist, even with a number 1 hit in Germany. He also used to be a popular youtuber when he was younger!
