Key & Peele

Күн бұрын

Conflict erupts when a black student joins a college a cappella group that already has a black member. (Contains strong language.)
About Key & Peele:
Key & Peele showcases the fearless wit of stars Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele as the duo takes on everything from "Gremlins 2" to systemic racism. With an array of sketches as wide-reaching as they are cringingly accurate, the pair has created a bevy of classic characters, including Wendell, the players of the East/West Bowl and President Obama's Anger Translator.

One of the few times where censoring words actually ruined the video. This is a great skit and the constant censoring just sucks all the wind out of the humor. Watch it uncensored on comedy central website, it's way better.

Why do people hate beeps so much?
@gamekidg7
@gamekidg7 4 жыл бұрын
@@bradeng7158 I understand it being censored it for TV, but I think that people are annoyed because this is on the internet. Also, while one or two beeps are fine, the majority of this video does involve them swearing in order to put emphasis on the dialogue between the characters. Replacing the swears with several beeps. If you watch the original one, it feels a lot different.
@bradeng7158
@bradeng7158 4 жыл бұрын
@@gamekidg7 that makes sense. It does change the effect of it in this instance. Also it's not censorship if its self imposed. The distinction is important because censorship is a mind control technique whereas this is people choosing to bleep out the swears in their video. We must be vigilant of censorship. This is not censorship. It is a poor creative decision though.

Yeah, as a black guy, I was expecting longer. 25 is pretty good. But it’s only a first step. The long term plan is to get the white girl. Then after that win her parents over. Then the grandparents. Or just wait for them to die, whatever comes first. Often the parents won’t accept me till after their other daughter, who did marry the preppi white guy gets divorced and they finally realize we were the couple that was meant for each other, as hard as that was to imagine and accept for all those years.

The Raven kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHbXkp-FhLhgm68 here’s the link to the original! every time they reupload a skit to this channel, the original upload on comedy central gets unlisted. it’s a shame, especially for this one cause it’s just not the same censored lol

I don’t know why the “25 minutes” part was so funny😂😂

Because the question implies he worked long and hard to get in. But an average audition is 25-30 minutes for everyone. Which means the group is not racist. And that it's 2020.

@Omar Khalil المسلم maybe its because of physics. imagine 2 goups. one herd of black sheep with only 1 white sheep. Since its so bright it will poke you in the eye to see it. Otherwise a herd of white sheep and 1 black sheep its a different story since your eyes adapt to the brightness of that large white surface, its more likly to not see the 1 black sheep.
