No one needs to feel bad for ShouLao. He isn't defeated each time a new Iron Fist needs to be chosen. He DOES the choosing, by testing their skills, technique, state of mind, etc. No matter how he is portrayed in the comics, he allows the one he feels is worthy of the chi to "win" and claim the Iron Fist.

So essentially....they ruined, probably, one of the coolest potential story lines for season 3 by just giving Danny's his power back instead of having him earn/take it from Orson or even participate in the tournament (even if Kun Lung is gone I'm sure they could still hold it)

Iron Fist season 2 was okay but the constant switching of the Iron Fist was really annoying. It basically turned into Colleen season 1 and she's a good character but it's really aggrievating when I want to see a show about Danny Rand

At this point I think that Bakuto's plan in season 1 was to steal the iron fist from Danny, which would have facilitated the openig of the "door" in Defenders under Midland Circle. But he most probably didn't know how to steal it even though he collected all sort of information. That's why he tried to recruit Danny in some way, without success.

I’ll be generous and assume Orson Randall was in his late 20’s to early 30’s in 1948. Iron fist takes place almost seven decades later so unless we’re gonna see some frozen in ice bs your boy Orson is gonna be wrinkly and on life support at best

I sift through a lot of these long form reviews and back stories after I watch a movie/show. I pop one ear bud in at work , helps me get through the day. let me tell you....a lot of them , even the professional studio types suck....all "hey look at me I'm geeky and funny " but they're just annoying ....spitting out one liners every two second , strung out on red bull and glossing over the details that are the whole point of the video. You're great though kid, funny ....insightful , informative and relaxed....can tell youre actually a fan of the genre and not some geek Ryan seacreast. Great work , don't change. subscribed

I really don't mind coleen being iron fist, i see many people on other videos as well mentioning it. I know it's meant to be Danny rand but I am really not bothered by it. What I am bothered though, is how even with the many improvements they made in s2, even on the action, somehow the bery short black and white clip of the old iron fist still has the best iron fist action scene ever

Can Danny Rand be a better Iron Fist? This show has so much potential but it is a slow burn and we are never getting the Iron Fist from the comics. I am just glad this season had better martial arts than season 1. I would rather see Colleen Wing as full Iron Fist as this point and make Danny and the Mechems side characters. Give Colleen the green and yellow until Danny mans up!

I personally enjoyed season 2 of IF. Danny is more likeable, in my opinion I think he is a decent character now, not the best, but he can become the best. the action is way better, like it's good this time. and I think most side characters are also pretty good. I recommend watching it and making your own opinion. it sets up season 3 quite nicely and season 3 is probably going to be even better.

I might get flamed for saying this, but I have liked Iron Fist much more than the other Netflix Marvel Series. I do admit, season 1 wasn't great but season 2 was a major step up. Everyone saying that they want to see a more bad ass Danny like in the comics, however I find it more refreshing seeing a super hero that is emotionally more relateable. We see all these fearless heroes, but Danny is still trying to find himself which is cool seeing him get to point a to b over multiple seasons. At the end of the the season, it opens up an opportunity for Danny to find himself and become more of a fearless hero figure, which lets be real, if he was like this from the begging it would get quite boring quickly.
