I did it today but the button i bought had only 2 wires and original has 6 can't find anywhere with 6 wires maybe i'll try junkyard. But on video this looks harder than it is . Cheers

Good luck and you should be able to find it. Maybe the 2 wire are only for the button, the rest of the wires go to the sensor that picks up your hand when you grab the handle

Have you thought about fixing the popping sound coming from door stop hinges? I have the same problem. Apparently it's not the easiest job to replace them (I think you have to take the door even more apart) but some diy fixes are possible.

If the door doesn't have excess play or closes the wrong way, you can literally grease / lube the hinges and that sound will go away. You should replace them if the door in closed position it's not aligned correctly or has a lot of play / worn out.

@@KlavsX_I speak of the sound that your door makes at 1:12. Those two *pop* when you open the door. My both front doors make that because they have some play in the stopping levers (not sure what is correct name for them) which causes the popping noise. Replacing them or adding some sort of pivot to eliminate the play are only options I believe. Minor annoyance.

I know you mean the 2 clicking/pop noises. From how much experience I have, I wouldn't bother changing them if they aren't to lose or hold the doors open at the right angle. As I mentioned, if the noise itself bothers you then grease will help. When I got the car all the doors were making that noise, but after greasing up and opening them moany times, the noise went away

@@KlavsX_ Ok, will have to try greasing. Thanks!

Yeah, try that. Hope it works and the pop sounds stop. As replacing parts on that will be a pain.
