Keystone RV's new In Command System explained

While at my Keystone factory tour I took some time with Matt Christensen, production manager for Cougar at Keystone to go over the all new In-Command system.
If you love technology and appreciate how it can simply your life you will love the new in-command system! Essentially you can operate all your major RV functions from your phone or tablet remotely. My description doesn't do it justice. Watch the video and let me know what you think?

I received very little documentation on this system when I picked up my 2020 315RLS. Some instruction on delivery, But I understand the part that runs the awnings is problematic. I got a very interesting look when I was trying to see if I could set up a pan appointment for them to take a look.

ric bryant are you referring to the Keystone Factory Ric? I was unaware of any awning issues.

I was at a local dealer in Las Cruces NM speaking with a service writer. She gave me the look of “ Oh no, not another awning issue with the latest IN-command. I was trying to see if they would look at my awning issue as I was 1500. Miles from where I bought my rv.

They do a great job talking about the great technological features these units have but that's not really what I want to know. You all need to do a better job of putting videos together on how to manually extend or retract the slide outs should one lose the controls of that motherboard. Same goes for the leveling jacks. Because if something is going to go wrong, and it will, it's probably going to be when someone is out there in the middle of godforsaken nowhere with no electrical power or people to help. The manual override functions of these units is much more important to know as far as I'm concerned. If you do have those videos for the 2021 cougar 30rls, could you please pin them on this post so that myself and others can go to them and study them? I'd appreciate that very much! Thank you

We think our thermostat is bad in our 2020 cougar anyone know where the thermostat is since we have in-command?

We have a 2020 366RDS and we are looking to swap our 6 gal water heater for a tankless, how do you add it to the In-Command system? This system has caused us nothing but problems and we would get rid of it if we could.

I just bought a 2021 3930FB. Do I have to enter my code on in-command every time to just turn on my kitchen lights? Is there a way to bypass entering a code?

You can either adjust the time before it locks or disable it completely. Menu>settings>passcode>set passcode timer Or Menu>passcode>change passcode then disable

bad thing is if the inside command unit dies you cant control your furnace water pump ac units or heat we have only had unit for a week and have lost inside unit blue screen of death before we could even go camping been trying to leave for 2weeks camping world cougar tsb34 unit the camping world carriers no replacement units in stock so we are looking at another 2weeks waiting on inside module .

Shirley Cramer thats awful to hear. I have not heard of anyone getting the blue screen. Did you get fixed?

Mine won’t work from a apple product from the first day🤔. The fix has not been achieved either. Just garbage.!!!!
