Essentially he is not taking a stance on whether sex itself is wrong or not - one of the main emphases of the teachings - and it is also clearly expressed here in this video - is to not blindly follow opinions, thoughts, religion, philosophies of others - i.e not blindly taking a stance and becoming a slave to it. What he is saying, however, is that sex has become tainted and saturated with ideas, lusting for it, over-analysing it, being obsessed with ideas about it, and also using it as a form of escape because our lives are uncomfortable - no different to the alcoholoic who escapes to his whiskey bottle when he has to face pain. And is Krishnamurti wrong in any of this? Is it not ironic that this was recorded, what - in the 70's/80's ? And everything he is saying is completely TRUE to today! It's 2023 as I am writing this. Look at our hypersexualised culture. Sex is a basic, physical act, but now it has turned more into a thing you talk about, lust about, and long for in endless varities, fetishes, etc. Is it not ironic that a random 13-year-old who has never even touched a girls hand, let alone done anything remotely intimate, is addicted to pornography and is becoming brainwashed by these unrealistic depictions of sex?

I would say this is the first time I have truly understood what celibacy is. The moment you clearly start experiencing the oneness, that is the moment you become celibate. All the differences of man and a woman get wiped out and remains is the oneness, the love.

I think it's just about finding something better to do, than to look for sexual or romantic partner. The reason why sex became such a big deal, is because most of us have no better purpose. When humans have purpose in life, whatever it might be, sex probably just becomes something that one doesn't think about, or just for making babies. Of course if one gets enlightened, one can probably be able to have no desires. But enlightenment is a very rare thing. Plus celibacy works only if one is completely content with it. And in most cases people just try to convince themselves they're content this way.

in even trying to practice mysticism (any form to be honest) on a regular basis, there comes a point where one can realize how they aren't that attached to sexuality as they were before; this inward-turning and dissolving of the perceived borders between me vs. everything else, me vs. "I" (subject-object fall into eachother, like some singularity), it lead me to believe that it's a natural part of the whole mystical process and the rules about celibacy or purity before marriage were "putting the cart before the horse" without the realization the rule is useless, although it might be there as something to help the process unfold, but if one isn't a mystic and just wants to live a normal life, then it's really useless (other than upholding societal cohesion and order)

You speak as if being a celibate is a virtue! If you believe it is a virtue, what is the pull factor? And conversely, what do you think will affect you if people think you are not or unable to achieve celibacy?

There is transcending sex. Once you rise above the body, the upward flow of energy, sex is just a biological function and no longer a motivator in life. Just like urinating is not a motivator. The downward flow of energy goes to the genitals. So lower is biological function, the animal, the monkey, and the upward flow is obvious, heart, mind, and the universal being.

He was her treasure The source of her pleasure She was his treasure The source of his pleasure They thought they were in love They were With themselves All they'd arranged Was a consensual pleasure exchange To assuage their pain But like everything else The time came When things changed Strangely Only the pain Of their loneliness remained Soon each was in search again For a new treasure At the Pleasure Exchange

Sex has become very important for humans not as a means of escape, but because they have not been able to channelise their boundless energy in creative pursuits. Sexual urge is natural but this should be ensured that our daily life activities should not be hampered by that madness . This will be possible if we carry out other creative activities that can engage our minds and at the same time than can help us to understand our own psych. For this deep alertness is required

In that way, finding a true balance is Key. Letting sex control ur life is no good, But at the same time, not enough can drive many people crazy. 👁‍🗨 have been on both sides of the coin, where 👁‍🗨 recently went without no sex, no ejaculation or masturbation 4 months (Semen retention/No fap), But 👁‍🗨 went thru years in the past of just masturbating multiple times a day, only thinking about sex & Not using that sexual energy 2 more of a creative aspect. Now, 👁‍🗨 find a balance 2 channel My sexual energy 2 doing something. But, using that energy at least twice a week thru sex or masturbation. It makes me feel balanced out.

Other creative activities would be to just to cover up the urge when the whole society is obsessed with it. Sex has become a currency in the mondern world. Look at Tribals they just don't attracted to it even they are naked and looks even healthy which attracts modern men, but not to them. Surprising Tribal psych is much healthier than us.

He is judging a society that is not ready, from the point of view of an ideal human being. People like Krishnamurti lived to show us what we should become. But there is a process. A world suddenly full of Krishnamurti, would be useless for the Consciousness in order to experience. I've never seen Krishnamurti talking, only had read his sayings. I see in his eyes disapointment... But why? It's like being disapointed that a child is a child and doesn't understand things that an adult understands. Things are just as they were meant to be. The actual human being in in a process. Krishnamurti and others lime him just came during this process, like strangers to a world. They just should accept that they were born as an example to the rest of humanity, but the humanity has it's process to go trough and it will experience separation for many more years untill the times of ONE will come. It is all experience! Why judging so much?

No he’s not judging. He is presenting a possibility to help people, help make a change in the world (which he thinks to be positive), just like the Marxists or communists ideals still strives toward forming a better world. They are all right, but as you said, in their own time and space, the time which has perhaps not come. But, perhaps we can decide by slowly adapting to the ideas we want, and see whose time comes first. If that idea is profound and natural, which the people understand over time, it shall succeed in establishing itself as a norm.

yes he is disappointed....but he is not judging....he just wants society to question themselves.....and hence he tried way too much......he wanted people to talk to their true self and get the answer from that place....but the world was not ready then.....the audience was mere spectator at that time(exception may be there)........but now u see....it is reaching people ......this content is not to teach people.....The things he is saying cant be taught.....coz if you are understanding what he is saying ....it means you have already experienced it...................

Very interesting thoughts my friend. I do feel too he's judging, seems to me like a beautiful and usefull catch. Ive been reading Krishnamurti for a while and coundt put in words which emotion in his expressions bothered me. It was the judging. However, I dont feel he is judging someone else or a group in which he does not feel included. I feel he is rather judging ourseleves. I think krishnamurti was very counsciouss about the emotion (judgement) he was delivering. I think he was an inmensely counsciouss man. Given his sense of onneness, which it seems to me he lived in his own flesh every day (or at least a great part of the day), I woudnt see Krishnamurti consciously sitting in a judge or observation seat. I woud rather understand Krishnamurti feeling society in himself as it feels like the power of emotion he is delivery comes from the pain of society trying to drain through him. A society complainin about itsefl as a step in a process of change. I feel he didnt contained or blocked that emotion from his speech as he knew he was just a channel. From my point of view, that emotion that invaded him (judgement), was not an invasion from desire or imagination but (in some form or sense) instructed by a higher conscousness of love/oneness. I feel Krishnamurti consciouslly deliverd the judgment emotion because he felt it is what we needed, or need. Thanks again for your thoughts. From Peru, Stefan.

Yes the love of God, if cultivated properly, eliminates the need for sexual intimacy as the intimacy with God is so much greater. For those called to marriage sexual intimacy is a complimentary gift, but I prefer oneness with God, although I am not yet there!

The best argument I've ever heard against why a kind of brotherly communal love for each other, without discrimination, and expressed daily would not work is its sheer impracticality. We could not stop with each stranger on the street and confess our sins, state our good intentions, and share our stories. It would take too much time. The best you can do is find something your good at, you enjoy, the world is in desperate need of, and you can make money off of (ikagi) and love humanity through your labor.

This vid should have 1,3 biljon likes so the world would understand what love is and sex is complementary not a main objective. Many people are being hurt by the goal sex has become. Have fun and love but don't hurt other because of what you think is a target. Love yourself so you can feel if you love others, all that comes behind is complementary.

This is very subjective. Sex is a creative force of manifestation. People don't understand why some ppl were shunned from doing so and why some weren't. It's all about energy manipulation it is the root of why it's been labeled taboo In some areas and openly accepted in others. Not everyone has the same perception of sex until you gain true knowledge of self this answers will remain elusive. Introspection is key. Understand what it is for you.

The interviewer came up with Jesus and heaven reference in the beginning . . . later JK intentionally or unintentionally mocked n mentioned that people are 2nd hand in intelligence 3rd rate and we refer others. 10:14 "I repeat plate, aristotle or buddha or somebody." without mentioning Jesus here. spiritual slaves- christian refers jesus, hindu refers Rama, muslim refers allah, so on so forth without our intelligence.
