Saanen, Switzerland 1983 - Question #2 from Question and Answer Meeting #2
'Could we speak about the brain and the mind?'
This channel is managed by the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust, UK, and by the Krishnamurti Foundation of America.
The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, 'The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities... nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.'
We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti's original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms.
Our videos contain thousands of subtitles in more than 25 languages, translated by volunteers from all over the world. If you would like to help us with translating subtitles, please contact us at digital@kfoundation.org

When one watch without the self centred stand, then there is no fear; and when the brain is still, absolutely, it is related to the intelligence- the supermind !!

Mind-Brain-Perception is a same movement, they are not separate. Any FORM or Separation is based on thinking and memory, and these as well are a manifestation of Consciousness.

Hang on. The mind is shared. Mind is separate from the brain. Its intelligent . But conciousness is also shared. But conciousness is in our brain memories. How?

Thanks for your sublime passion of sharing these timeless teachings to one and all. 🙏 One request : Could you kindly provide the proper English subtitles with every video or audio clip that you care to share, because auto-generated subtitles are grossly misleading at times. Many watchers/listeners like me, especially in India, for whom English is the second or third language, need these subtitles while listening to English. Perhaps you are not aware that "listening practice", which involves listening to and understanding a native speaker of a particular language, is not the part of curricula to teach English in the vernacular medium schools in India. Thanks again.🌿

When all the memories come up I was bought up in Brixton in the mid sixties but not west Indian the British colony that I came from we were not confrontational not aggressive but quite meek. We were not allowed to go to all night parties or hang around the streets we had to do our home work go to church every sunday. I hated Brixton it was a shit hole looked like a ghetto in those days. We were taunted by the locals they called us coconuts black on the outside white on the inside because we chose to study and try and get a good job. In actual fact they scared me they were a bit rough. dI had no identity and when I tried to fit into the white community I eventually found out its not only about the colour but the cultural difference. Even when I left I live in a predominately white community and still experience that look of making you feel inferior.

What is the relevance of talking about a change in the brain cells? There is a change of direction or not.

So if Love is not personal and it is not of the brain then the human brain must be personal. I see Crows brain or the dogs brain is also personal and the love and tricks they perform is for getting a treat. What about the universal brain? Is there something like that? If it is there then it must be operating universally, not favoring any particular part of the universe and love maybe it’s nature. To call it the universal mind or universal brain has no meaning as it must operate through the particular mind/brain.

@@SudhirDudeja only for a certain amount of TIME if you think about it because technology in 2005 was a completely different from technology in 2021 and just wait another 20 years The technology is evolving with the BRAIN becuase we can say that people never change Kid born in the world with 2005 techology is completely different as a kid with 2021 techonology if you know what i mean brain is constantly evolving as people are born the old brain pass his knowledge through gene so the kid born to a parents is same as them but the evolved version of themselfs I came to this when my son was born...i was thinking about this when i was seeing myself in my mother and father but i'm completely different person with different thinking about things and now my son is like me but he is not like me xD I like to think this way it's just my opinion you don't need to take me srsly :D
