A well trained horse can handle the unfamiliar as long as they’re comfortable with the trainer/handler.

Lord have mercy he was naughty! Typically Friesian are even tempered. Something must have happened that caused him to really act out. Too he might not be ready for showing.

He’s a stallion.

A gelding would not be considered. These shows are to identify high breeding quality of a Friesian horse. So if the horse is male, it is known he is a stallion. The stallion of good quality would be able to conduct himself in a well mannered presentation

He's not in pain. He's a colt, he has a case of "testosterone poisoningz' and is acting studdish as a result. Typically Friesian stallions aren't this worked up and aggressive and have better manners than this one. In other breeds this would be viewed as normal stallion behavior. They are not Yorkie-Poos and stallions of any breed can be tough to handle.

What a wonderful stallion! But he does not know how to behave! And obviously those people don't know how to handle a horse either, respectively how to train him. Too bad!

I have watched this handler many, many times. He is excellent with the horses. This was just a rare example of what went wrong one time!

I know they have big feet, but you'll be far happier with a Percheron. Friesian's have a couple of scared mice for brains.
