This is my experience trying to find people to collaborate with as well. It's frustrating. The lesson in this video that I feel like a lot of people are not getting out of it is put your ego to the side. I made the same type of mistakes the people who didn't respond made in my early 20's and I'll be paying the price for a long time. It's so easy to think you're wasting your time with people you don't think are as developed as you once you start to get some momentum and you develop this narssistic way of looking at things. You should always remember that no matter who you are you need connections and relationships to make every little step and the realization that changed everything for me that this video reminded me of is that you are NOTHING without the people around you. Good and bad. Good luck to you all!

No one in the world will invest that much time to work with an small/unknown artist.........If you are an unknown artist and somebody sends you nice and well produced beats and wants to work with you for free, you do it. This Jasper dude is an (yet) unknown artist but even after he got some beats he still was on the verge of leaving. No disrespect, but i think this dude did not deserve the chance he got. Happy for him anyways. What do some of these guys think ? That one day scott storch knocks on their door and wants to work for free ? There is so much talent out there, not a single reason to be cocky.
