Actually in podcast you don't have to put any effort, just simply watch. However in books you've to put in effort, read and it's boring as well.. that's why podcasts might win but can't replace books

KGB infiltrated deeply in Indian Administration, in the Central and States Governments during 60s, 70s, 80s. Yuri Bezmenov, the KGB defector was assigned tasks in India. the Influence of Soviet union was so much that Indira Gandhi changed our original preamble and added words like Socialist and Secular. The Former caused our Economic collapse in the early 90s and latter one is causing Cultural Collapse in the present day as well.

I found the iconic books, written by vasili mitrokhin, in penguin's shop at the book fair. I think it's not books or podcast, podcast can be a very good way of getting introduced to unknown unknown or known unknown... It means something that you don't know existed or you know existed but have no idea about it.... And then ofcourse if you get into it books provides more in-depth knowledge.... You can't read many books at a time but you can filter which book or genre to read

The Soviet secret service agency was first named Cheka, later renamed as OGPU, which in turn was renamed as NKVD in the 30s. It was renamed as MVD sometime after the great patriotic war (WW2) and finally renamed as KGB in the mid 50s under Khrushchev. That name remained until the dissolution of USSR in the early 90s
