But using oils from a brand like Anveshan is not a sustainable choice for most middle class and poor families as their cold pressed oils start at ₹ 400/- onwards where as such sections of the society can't afford such hefty prices when alternatives (even though comparatively inferior) are available as low as 100-150 per liter.

Refined rice bran is like other refined oils, as much unhealthy as are other refined oils like palmolien, sunflower, etc. Better switch to filtered groundnut oil, which is healthy and affordable, around Rs 170 per litre. Although all refined oils are in the range of Rs 100 per litre, but they are unhealthy and harmful, cold pressed oils are quite expensive, cold pressed groundnut oil costs around Rs 350 to 400, although it is comparable with filtered groundnut oil in quality and nutrition.

nowadays getting a healthy cooking oil in the mkt is difficult. This is a bald fact. If you want to play safe get coldpressed filtered oil from local smalltime oil expeller guy. And get it done before your eyes. We use three cooking oils in our kitchen namely mustard, coconut and groundnut oil. I get them all from the oil mill guy.
