His stand on Edible OILS is not correct. He said oil is composed of only triglycerides which is wrong, in fact the SATURATED FAT content in oil is the actual triglycerides and the main culprit. MUFA/PUFA content of the oil is the HDL which removes fat deposition from the arterial wall, so it clears heart blocks. But most of the WHITE OILS have high SATURATED FAT & minimal PUFA/MUFA. The edible oil with least SATURATED FAT content is MUSTARD OIL (Dhara/Dalda/Engine/Ganesh) which contains only ~5-8 mg. Otherwise all oils Sunflower,Rice Bran,Soyabean,Canola,Sesame,Olive contain 11-30 mg SATURATED FAT content in them. Zero Oil is not the solution as oil has many nutrients too

I read a lot of comments and most are misguided. First of all our body doesn't require any oil intake other than what is available naturally, and the Doctor is absolutely correct. When the food is cooked in oil it doesn't add any taste but it makes the food rich. When the food is rich you feel satisfied and hence you think that oil adds to the taste. Some others wrote that we need fat to absorb micronutrients, but what is needed is good fat that is derived naturally from food, when you eat nuts, that has a lot of good fat. Ignorance is bliss.

Could you make a video on how might we cook by replacing oil with water? Fat is an essential nutrient totally avoiding fat is not good for health, fat is responsible for production of hormones, fat is also responsible for absorption of certain vitamins. Being into fitness for many years i did try a very low fat diet and it was not good and I felt very unhealthy. Somewhat agree with the doc.But few fun facts Tel se nahi aata - This is wrong, tel se masale se alag taste aata hai. Air fryer. 💀 No need to add anything just cut potatoes into thin layers. Boil it with vinnegar/salt water for 5 minutes. Dry them. Then bake it into the air fryer for a certain amount of time. Or u can just use a sand process. Have u ever seen how peoples make papad crispy? They use sand to make papad. No oil needed. Or u can use tandoor to make roti crispy.

There are essential fatty acids which we get from cold pressed oils. Oils do have taste. Ghee is very good for the body, it not only adds taste but also prevents us from ulcers and harmful effects of masalas. Definitely vegetable fat like dalda is harmful with lot of saturated fats. Oils are useful for nervous function. So, oil is not entirely bad for health but don't just overeat the oily foods. I think sugar is more harmful than fats.

Hamare West Bengal state mein ham hazaro saal se mainly cold pressed mustaoil use kar rahe hai, even mera dietitian and doctor ne bola mujhe ki mustard oil is best if taken within limits. Aur hamare body ko bhi fats chahiye. Never believe online influencers, specially in case of health. Just consult with your doctor or dietitian.

Please ask the doctor to get his fasting insulin & HOMA IR test done. He is a case of hyperinsulinimia....and insulin resistance. Triglyceride is the storage form within the body. Oil contains primarily fatty acid, and they are PUFA. Doctor ka chemistry & biochemistry is perfectly fine. But he does not know how body use the nutrients. Couple of times I brought pure oil. But I could not afford to buy always as the pure Non Refined oil of any type is very expensive. So again we have to buy Refined oil as they are cheap

I do not agree. He is giving completely false information. Once i completely eliminated oil from my food. After some days, pain started in my arms and i went to see an orthopedic doctor. He prescribed some pain killer which gave me some temporary relief. After the effect of pain killer was over, there was pain again. Then i realised that something happened because of elimination of oul from my diet. Believe me i started taking oil again. The pain was over in next day

Ghee and oil is good for skin and to keep joints lubricant. Just avoid refined oil.

Any oil added to cooked food makes it tamas...so it does affect your body, digestion, mood and lot other things. Satvik food is raw, boiled and easy to digest

Desi cow ghee is needed for the body! But haan moderation me. 2 spoon a day is enough. Baaki oil to kam hi rakhna chaiye

Don't say fat free say in 'moderate amount' as there are some vitamins which require fat for their absorption
