I see that KH on Steam actually attracted new players. A lifelong fan like most of us wouldn't have cast Blizzaga to Sephiroth because we know he's immune to magic. 😂 It makes me kinda happy.

Most people dodge roll in the beginning when he first attacks as well. You could also tell whenever he parry's sephiroth he waits until he's done to use counterguard rather than using it right away

5:24 - 5:36 Oh man, THAT took me straight back to 2005, playing vanilla KH2 and KZbin was still finding its footing as a platform (i.e. when you couldn't just "KZbin" how to beat Sephiroth). In the era where you can easily skip Sephiroth's Desperation Move, figuring this strategy out on our own made me and my friends feel like legends! I have fond memories of pulling off this exact strategy, thinking it was a fluke, and then doing it for a couple of friends on their copy and feeling totally validated.

My brother and i back in 2006 ended up killing Sephiroth by passing the controller to each other (I did the arial combos my brother did the ground combos). Hes really easy once you understand how reflect works.

Glad Kingdom Hearts made it to Steam they need to make all games work on Linux without Proton Windows has become very unreliable in lack of security meanwhile I've noticed more and more games on Steam are currently being imported to Linux it's only the amount of time until EVERYTHING starts working on Linux we will not NEED Windows in the future.

When I fought him on critical mode i learned reflect is the best magic spell in the game I just spammed that and cheesed sephiroth
