I think it built upon the idea in KH2 where DiZ had technologies that can scan whatever and make data copies by making Jimminy’s first journal the setting. Maleficent is computer illiterate and I think that’s both funny and accurate but Pete too?

It's late but I can give you explanation for Ventus part but only theory may work bc it's KH lol Well, when Ven was sleeping during BBS until KH3 you know his heart left his body. From the first event Ven experienced deep sleep (khux finale story) which caused him to skip time and that didn't effect aging. According to theory Ven was found by Xehanort and brought to Eraqus said 2 yrs before bbs story (pre-bbs was flashback scene), and not long after that, war happened and aftermath, Ven's heart stayed inside Sora and sleep until KH3. He definitely stopped aging twice Very KH logic lol

Theory time!: After Sora is saved from being a heartless he wasn’t actually turned normal. As you know, heartless are the hearts of dead people and because Kairi is a Princess of light she turned Sora’s heart into full light making him normal. It wasn’t until after Roxas goes back into Sora that Sora is fully normal

Actually, Roxas is a unique case as he is able to co exist with Sora. Normally Nobodies and Heartless can’t coexist with their original but Roxas was able to due to Sora being able to control himself when he was a Heartless. Until Sora was put to sleep and Roxas was forced to merge with him.
