When I left Pakistan some 20 years ago, I thought one of my losses as a refugee there was not being able to listen to beautiful and soulful ghazals anymore. I also worried that it was a dying genre since I didn't hear much from India either. Finding you on KZbin a few months ago, connected me back to the music genre that I loved the most. In my work as a psychologist I often talk about this genre as the only one I know to be capturing the depth of human emotions. Thank you for bringing this genre back to life, music world was incomplete without it. Love all of your songs.

Jaise mere urdu k ustad mere liyay kehte they Is gohar e nahid ki har taan hai depak, Shaula sa lapak jaye hai, awaz to dekho! Mai yehi kahongi ali sethi k liyay. Mai nahi janti k mai choti hon ya bari, magar nasehat karongi k Apni haqeeqat ko pehchan ne walay k liyay raste asan hote hain, or agar kisi ne adab ka darwaza khol lia to agay aglay bas 2 hi darwazay hote hain, ya to mai-khane ka ya qiblay ka. Adab pehli serhi hai. Yeh woh zeena hai jo uper bhi jata hai or neche bhi jata hai. Gehrai ya bulandi. Ishq pehli serhi, phir dhondiye k aap k naseeb mai kya hai, mijazi ya haqeeqi!! Khuda aap ko naik rakhe!
