This song brings me back to the smell of homemade soup on a dull grey winters day, the feeling of an itchy school jumper coming off and the relief of being warm at home with my mother watching The Onedin Line. I'm a 40 year old metal head but come back to this song often to shed a little tear and remember her. RIP Mammy. Great rendition.
