I have heard about it, so it is true that it is the highest mountain in West Africa. Please, someone should wake Nigeria up from slumber. We need to enjoy Nigeria and our God-given nature.

Been to Gembu about 12years ago. It was recommended by a corper who served there. The way she described it made me so curious. She said it was so beautiful...and it is! Even though I would like it to get the tourist development it deserves, a part of me is happy that it hasnt. It is so untouched and beautiful. I fear that it may lose some of its appeal, if it has crowds of people strutting about. Selfish, I know
@OzavoguAbdul3 жыл бұрын
You are right. A part of me feels the exact same way. Sustainable tourism is what we need. Something without a negative impact of the environment and culture of the people

Congratulations for making it finally. Today I learnt that Manbila plateau is the Most Beautiful place in Nigeria. Beating Obudu. Hope Taraba govt makes a great resorts here. Nigeria is the best kept secret for Tourism. Well done bro, for sharing and inspiring us to continue to tell our stories

Thank you for the kind words, bro. The Mambilla Plateau is largely unspoiled and unexplored. Unfortunately, the state govt is doing next to nothing about tourism. Typical Nigeria.

Funny how you walk from "West Africa" to "Central Africa" by foot. The west really did bad to Africa. Thanks for all these videos. Apart from the tourism side of the videos, I keep questioning the notion of nation state in Africa. Someone watching with good knowledge of Bamenda would easily see that whole area to be Bamenda both climate and culture-wise. Glad you enjoy your walk day in both Nigeria and Cameroon. Also impress by the fact that even the border officers understand that these are same people thus no need to loiter around or putting some sort of barricade.

I will address the elephant in the room...The presence of so many fulani settlers on that land, makes me worry for the original inhabitants, the locals. Who knows what would be their fate in some years to come.
