I live on one of the main steams in kaimuki and it’s the crazy homeless people living under the bridges that are creating a large amount of the non natural pollution

Alawai canal was always dirty since I remember in the early 1980s. But I have never saw that much debris this is the worst I seen it looks like a lot of ply board wood 😮.

It came from all of the culverts that run down the mountain, run under bridges, etc. Doesn’t have to rain in Ala Wai.

I used to play and fish there in the 40s and50s, it was clean back then cause of the outlet on Campbell and kalakauà. The wall was not in existence then,just pure beauty.
