Starts at home with the mental health issues that are not addressed or breeds bad conduct. We love libraries, teachers and students should not have to deal with disrupters. They can go to a public library with their parents to get books.

Yes, Ive never been in a class where disruptors could not be removed. And i went to RPS. Bad students are everywhere. Even if Houston is BLESSED with a higher than normal amount, money would be better spent in the long run hiring and training teachers who feel called to teach them. School librarians are much more than books.

No one said there would Not be access to books!!! It is simply a paradigm shift! HISD has failed kids for decades!!! These kids deserve a fighting chance!! As a 30 year educator, I support the changes!! 💯🙏🏻😇

A shift that was not needed. The HISD has an overall B rating. The District was taken over because of one failing school, and by the time the school was taken over, the principle along with the community had bought that school up from an F to a C. The school and the community were involved. Now you just have a dictator and a yes board with no parental involvement. I guess parental involvement does not mean much is the district is basically Latino and African American.

Just a critique here . . . but you should change your name , and stop spamming the same thing word for word . That is if you want to be viewed as having an actual interest in the education of children vs a spam bot promoting the eventual end of education.

But the act of spam posting and your name made me suspicious of your motives. Hence I offered a critique about that as advice . So you could go forth and not generate the same suspicion in others :)
