QUESTION for you- I had a set of expensive WeatherTechs floorliners few years ago- and hated them. They are a very hard, somewhat shiny plastic. When new, they were beautiful. In less than a year they had gone through one Ohio winter, meaning slush and gritty dirt. That hard, shiny plastic turned into a mass of scratches, and they looked like cheap junk. For my next car I got a different brand that was more rubbery, and they have that dimpled surface like your Kia liners. They show no scratches, wear well, and scrub up beautifully. But they don’t make them for my new Kia. Question for you- I’m looking for a set for my new Niro. Are those Kia mats hard or a little more soft/rubbery? Do you think they will show scratches?

The Kia mats are more stiff than a typical floor mat. They are not made of rubber like a typical floor mat. The cargo format is complete garbage. Very thin. I don't think the floor mats will show scratches. The four front ones fit very very well. But the rear floor mats don't sit on the floor very well. Overall, they aren't bad. The front ones look especially nice. But I would highly recommend getting a different all weather floor mat for the cargo area.

They wouldn’t throw in the all weather mats unless I gave the dealer 100% rating, lol. I was also taken back by the light weight, but mine sits well.

I just got the OEM all-weather cargo mat. I'm gonna do a review on it soon. I don't like it at all.

Got same with my Sportage 😏

I don't think it's a problem with the car. For me, I just couldn't handle the noise. But I think it's the way the car was designed

The real question I have is how do you clean them?

That's the easy part. a hose and a brush and they're clean in just a few minutes.
