20 l/ 100 km (I think that's average from trip start) that seems a bit much doesn't it? What's your actual average consumption? The Kia Ceed GT seems like a very tempting package for the price , the only thing that worries me is that 20l/100 km average I keep seeing in videos where it's being driven hard.

Yes, i think that wasnt best consumption at all... but what you expect from little turbo engine? If you look on my other video with new mustang GT (5.0 V8 - 420 hp) and with same driving style i did 25,5 L/100km ... but with KIA if you want, you can get 7L/100km.. with V8 minimum 12-13L....

As I said I'm interested in buying a Ceed GT but one thing that bothers me is the fuel economy in comparison with other 1.6l 200 hp turbo petrol in its class like Renault Megane GT or Pegeot 308 GT or even the 2l Golf Gti which seem to have better fuel consumption but are almost 4k more than the Ceed, or even more for the Golf. The highest I could find acceptable as an average would be 12-13l/100 km dailying with some city driving, weekend trips, holidays and some fun spirited driving whenever I get the chance, and I'm not sure If I can achieve this or better with the Ceed.

Go to every dealer, and drive every car. I cant say to you what is better what is worse. I will choose ceed gt. Megan only RS.... (GT is bullshit). Peugeot you need to drive few kilometers and than you say that same (Bullshit) soo.. only choice is GT or GTI ... i will take for that money KIA.. but go to VW and KIA, ask them for a test drive and than you will see.
