[2024 kia optima] This is 100% the fix. 3 mechanics didn't get it diagnosed. Sold my friend oil caps and other shit.$11 at autozone (they have it listed wrong make them find the right part) and boom no oil leak no smoke. Thank you thank you

My kia has white smoke and goes in limp mode, code it comes with is P0404, apparently garage has cleaned egr and still same, I was thinking of replacing egr, or should I replace pcv valve first?

I tried to remove the line from my 2015 Optimas pcv valve but it looks like the hose is slightly heat shrunk onto the pcv valve. I didn't want to break anything trying to remove it

I had the same issue if you put a small Sharp angled pick it will loosen it, just don't poke the plastic :)

I bought the pvc valve off Amazon for a 2012 optima and the part looks completely different from the one you show. Ours has a clip to take off and then a part you take off with a wrench. I hope I didn’t get the wrong part
