Slide the arm forward (right) about .5” THEN lift up. Otherwise you’re going to snap the arm! (2018 model)

After popping off the plastic base cap the wiper still does not lift off the glass. There are stops inside the base.

Hi Mark, the wiper arm only needs to be lifted a few inches off the window. Then rotate the wiper blade away from the arm until it pops off. Once the bar on the blade has popped out of the C shaped socket, continue rotating the blade until it is perpendicular. Then lift the blade off the arm.

You have to slide the arm forward (to the right) about .5” then lift.
