This is a great tutorial, thank you! How do I know which spark plugs are factory recommended? I went through the whole manual of my Soul 2012 2.0l and there is only a sentence that they should be replaced at 105K with iridium coated spark plugs. There is no model number or brand.

Thank you..if you go to a parts store they can help you .you can get the name and part number from them and you can order them on line if you want.

@@notsofast2325 Thank you! I did the search on a chain parts store and several come up. I’ll go and visit the store and ask further. It’s just crazy that one can’t get that info from the manual or Kia site. In my beginner’s opinion 😀.

Great Video! It seems the 2016 1.6 is very similar to my 2014. I had my plugs replaced at about 80k, but I will be doing this myself when I get to around the 120K mark. I'm at 109K right now. I just replaced my PCV Valve myself, and am so happy to see videos like this one! I get to save money, plus it's very satisfying being able to do it myself! Thanks again! Generally, spark plug wires need swapping every 30,000 to 70,000 miles, though they may work just fine at 100,000 miles

@@notsofast2325 thank you I got iridium sparkplugs for wife car can't afford coil packs yet and will research cost for wires she just got car has 125,000 mi. Is running good had catilitic converter code Kia wanted $3,900 😄 code has went away I bought liquid cleaner and fuel treatment
