By far the most bang for the buck was with the 2.0 no question, being around a hemi for the last 9 years I was actually surprised the 2.o turbo gave a good example of the power that I lost ,if you will, Well done! Very fun breakdown of the differences, I think I have to agree with you, the base stinger offers so much. If I was buying a 4 cylinder Stinger it would def be the Base model thats where the value is. And same with the V6 too, I would go base or GT1 but GT2 is so baller haha I understand why you got it, it sucks you can't order these to spec. Awesome video!

Around 6:00 lighting remarks, note the V6 GT comes with FULL LED lighting, including turn signals front & rear. As U can see the comparison, the 4 cyl doesn't. That is a huge PLUS for the GT!

The 4 needs the option of a 6 speed manual and the dampers front the GT. Also, the exhaust tuning of the Hyundai Veloster N that pops and crackles would be nice.

The 2.0 ain’t no slouch either! I found a pair of GT1 headlights for $800 both. Got them installed (needs special wiring) and we’re good to go. Got the 2021 GT-Line in Panthera Metal with red interior!

@@XDeadlyBlade I found them separately on OfferUp. Found 2 people that sell parts and found both maybe 15 miles apart from each other. Got one for $450 and the other for $350. Both in excellent condition. Installed at Concept3 in Sante Fe Springs. It needs special wiring so make sure you go somewhere where they know how to do it. Not plug n play.

I did price out a Premium 2.0T a couple months ago. Was quite tempting I must say. I think if I were to wait a year or two for a certified pre-own I'd just cop a GT2. Plus the color options for the all the 2.0Ts are doo doo

Hahahaha that is true Patrick color choices on the 2.0 isn’t great but honestly for the price of a premium stinger I would get the base GT it satisfies me enough with the Apple CarPlay and the heated leather seats. But you could get a used GT2 as well and there is always the option of keeping the TSX and stacking the bread haha but idk you only live once too haha

At least in Europe you can get 2.0 Stinger in GT Line and then the only thing you do not get is nappa leather and bigger breaks + suspension tuning. LED lights and all equipment is almost the same.

From what I’ve read the GT2 comes with summer tires from the factory. Can anyone verify this is true? I live in the northeastern USA and would need to switch to all seasons. (IMO winter tires are a waste of money)

Correction- ALL trims of the Stinger include real leather. The difference, as you pointed out is on the GTII has Napa leather. Otherwise, love the review.

Kevin, I’m a fan of your channel and we’ve chatted before. I have an ‘18 2.0T with only 23k on it. Once the used prices drop a bit I was thinking of upgrading to a GT. I did read an article, though, that indicated the extra weight of the GT doesn’t really make for that much faster of a car. I do like the look of the GT, though. Would you even recommend the upgrade? Is it really worth the extra $$? Loving your channel! 😊

Oh for sure my friend the difference in speed is immense. The speed of the V6 Stinger is what really makes the Stinger exciting. I never understood the obsession so many media outlets have with the weight of a car. Like when you have a passenger or 2 in a car, do you notice it? Almost never but many channels keep highlighting weight when the HP & Torques is what you really feel. The main thing that disappoints me about the Stinger is the handling when you’re driving it hard especially compared to things like the BMW 440 & Audi S5. Used Lexus GS F or even GS 350 F Sport is something else to consider. I hope this helps Steven!

Yea I understand some of those features are attractive to some especially the sound system, the GT1 will come with a lot of that and with the 2019 Stingers and G70 here I’ve seen discounts close to 10k off so 35-38k for a GT1 2018 is not completely unreasonable especially since I saw a base GT brand new for 29,900 stupid good deals on this car brand new

we get a lot of nice cars, even the high end Italian exotics, not that you'll see many on the road, we get Mustangs and a lot of decent Japanese cars too. Most of the GM cars are Korean built and terrible. Lot's of Japanese cars, but no Acura's or Infinitiy's though, but we do get Lexus. Most of the cars on the road come from plants in Thailand which makes them affordable because of the ASEAN trade block. I like the Mazda's here a lot, we get all of the ones you get there, except the engine sizes are different and they are specific for Asia, so less of the gadgets, which is the same for most car brands here. The Korean cars seem to be mostly striped down versions, the SUVs and the econoboxes mostly, although Hyundai is starting to allow you to custom order the larger and more luxurious models. I wish Kia would do the same. I'm at least hoping they'll bring the 2019 Forte in here, if not the Stinger.

You know what I just noticed, the gas. I had to put gas on the base model and the owners Manual says premium for both regardless of engine. That's something they both have in common.

Nah I disagree in Korea its badges with an E symbol but for the American market they left it as a Kia to let us know they are serious about this car and they want you to know it’s a Kia or else they could have just made it under the Genesis name. But I def understand your thoughts!
