Hey guys you don’t need to wait a day. I waited twenty mins fuel was still steaming. Plug and play. Took me 2 hrs. Simply because I didn’t have the right prying tool and it was at night. Very straightforward.

That great 👍🏻 good job Can you send me the information where did you buy the E85 kit please 🙏🏻 thanks

From this video, it looks like you've connected the positive to a constant voltage source. Please correct me if I'm wrong. When I installed mine. I was able to get a mini fuse jumper, and I located a voltage source that only turns on when the ignition is on.

@@stinger_gt219 thank you it was pretty easy followed your steps. I did it ~40 minutes after driving. One extra step I took is I disconnected the battery terminals -and +. Also I did not had the tool to disconnect the fuel line ,ended up using a thin screwdriver I had.seems my guessing game wasn’t bad I had E26 in the tank.

Did you have issues connecting to that top bolt in the fuse box? Mine is always on and I thought it had to be to a switched fuse?
@stinger_gt2192 жыл бұрын
Yeah, supposedly it’s bad to leave it on all the time but I turn mine off manually from another fuse

What else do you need besides the kit? Can the stingers fuel lines take e85?
@stinger_gt219 Жыл бұрын
Stock fuel lines are good. You just can’t run full E yet.

Does this allow for full e85 ? Do you need a Jb4 or anything else besides this kit ?
@koreandude812 жыл бұрын
With the stock ECU tune, most aren't able to run more than E30, even with this kit as all it is, is just a sensor. If you're pushing too much ethanol, the JB4 logs will show consistently high trims through a pull (they should taper after an initial peak) and the HPFP values drop below 10 if your pump struggles to deliver the extra volume. Some cars even struggle with E20 so your results may vary. Mine handles E30 no problem. Aftermarket tunes are able to run higher E mixes since they recalibrate the fuel tables. Until recently though, if you wanted to run close to E85, you would need an aftermarket tune and a JB4 to run CPI to deliver the extra volume with a 7th injector.

@@koreandude81 I've managed E30 on map 3 in my 2012 kia Optima sx. Trim spikes at WOT but never off the graphs and settles down and HPFP holds at 10-11
