Talking about the Paralympic Games... When they were held in Sydney in 2000, i went with my family (i was 12) to watch the events.. Still to this day, i remember that day soooo clearly.. It was incredible! The best part was being able to watch any events that you wanted - walking around to any stadium, watching for an hour and then moving onto the next stadium. I remember watching the athletics, basketball, tennis, weightlifting, soccer and swimming. Soooo much fun! I hope that the olympics comes to Sydney again.

My finding balance is making sure I give myself at least 30 mins before bed to be alone. For me doing small loads of laundry every 3 days makes me know that I’ll never run out of at least scrubs and undergarments if my schedule were to get thrown off. I feel like life becomes overwhelming when we put things off and then have to do them all at once. So I try to do little things each day so it’s not piling up if that makes sense.

I used to use a planner and make a list of things that I wanted to do each day. Unfortunately that has gone by the wayside but feel it needs to come back. My life is not balanced at the moment, my health is not allowing it. So guess need to listen to my body and take it a bit at a time.
