Kicked OFF Our Campsite - Reality of Free Camping in Albany, WA

Welcome back to another episode and thank you for being here!
In this episode we are in Albany Western Australia and have the struggle of trying to find a camp site for our complete stay.
From the second we arrived in Albany we absolutely loved it. The town, the beaches and the fishing we couldnt wait to explore it all although it proved to be quite tougher than we had experienced to find the dream campsite.
We were lucky enough to arrive in Albany and secure a camp site within the Cosy Campground although there was just limited solar in this site we were unable to complete our full stay, Once we found our river camp we were so excited although that was very quickly ended and ending at the King River Palms Caravan Park.

DO35 hitch is so easy to connect by yourself. I have a Y62 too. Rotate your DO35 up like 45 degrees. When your pin goes under, the DO will start to rotate back to level. Now you are directly under it so you can do it all using your Y62 reverse camera. Try it.

To help with your washing when you're out there with no public washers and don't want to use the washer, you can buy a camp washing bag that uses less water than your washer and will be perfect for the girls clothes most of all. Keep doing what you're doing. I love how natural your videos are and I love how well you work as a team.

When you need to turn around in a tight spot, move to a spot which is a little wider than the caravan length. Uncouple the van, turn the car around and stop by the caravan. Place a block behind the rear wheel of the caravan on the same side as the car. Use a tow rope to pull the caravan around in a half circle. You may need to change the block to the other side front wheel if the swing room is tight. Try it on a flat open area for practice first

Guys I know you want to be off😢grid but do yourself a favour and go buy a Honda eu22 generator. Quiet light and grunty to top up your batteries. We have one on our drawbar and when we run it it smashes over 70 ah into the batteries through the ac charger 😊 5:06

Little tip. Take your meat out when it's nearly cooked, heat up webber to like 500 degrees open up the foil and let the skin crispen up a bit for like 10 mins

Hooray 🙌 I’ve been waiting, miss it so much if it’s not weekly but do understand the huge effort and time it takes to put it all together. Totally with you on campsites. The thought of having neighbours so close is totally unappealing. Good tip on doing Hipcamp before deciding 👍 You’re such a good mumma for all the effort into making a “takeaway meal” it’s so easy to just grab takeout. Ohh how disappointing someone took that spot, question.. is it polite to go and ask them how long they are staying or is that not done? Love this! You must chack out a reverse/back up cam would literally be the best for yous! we have one and is amazing. Its a camera back of your van that connects to a small but decent size ipad looking device that you can put in your car near your dash or anywhere and see whats happening behind your van when moving. Just like a baby monitor 😂You can even see cars and that behind you when travelling as well as when your reversing into a camp site like you did in your video xxx☺

I love watching you guys more than anyone I've seen. If I could offer you guys any advice, it would be to watch the guys from 4WD24/7 for all of your offroad driving although they do some heavy duty 4x4 they will teach you so much about tyre pressures and driving different surfaces especially sand and how to manoeuvre through it, solar power, camp cooking ideas, etc. Also Sarah and Keelan Travels have so much about travelling Australia in a van. Keelan is very knowledgeable about solar and one of their episodes they had to run their car off their solar because their starter motor shit itself. These guys have done a lot of beach camping.

Awesome message and I 100% agree. They make me also want to hurry up and get moving. Although, I'll be doing it on my own and with no van because life's to short and my life's on the down hill run so better enjoy it while I'm still able to even with a mod to severe level of chronic pain. Why so many months behind in your videos. We are nearly in May and this video is back in February… Also.. you never give cooked bones to dogs.. Took my dogs to the vet for a check up and 2 families had bought their dogs in for emergency surgery. Due to them giving their dogs cooked bones.. NO COOKED BONES

Great video...very entertaining. Please don't give your dog cooked bones of any kind, they can splinter or pieces can break off and cause an obstruction or break a tooth, it may not happen today but it will happen...raw, non weight bearing bones are much better.

Low-cost campsites is like a game of musical chairs.If you have one for 7 days someone else is still looking for a chair. Now 14 days and someone is camping in a parking bay waiting for you to move.
