Kickstart slipping

@@A6q4my dad used my bike and broke off the old kickstarter and started using vice grips on my sht 😂 now I gotta take the whole spindle out cause it’s stripped

I left my 4 stroke bike sitting without oil for a week, when I replaced it, left it sit in. Moved the bike just to check the level and something inside sounded like it snapped, then when I was going to hit the kickstart it wouldn't go down, it's stuck. I didn't do anything weird just moved it a little. I didn't even touch the kickstart until it was full of new oil. what could've be pls help!!! 😢

Spins your clutch which is attached to the crank which is attached to the piston so when you kick that down it spins a gear on the clutch which causes the engine to fire by spinning the crankshaft

Mine doesn't slip mine goes two clicks and it's done you have to push it 4 times for the piston to go up and down

Don't do that to the spline ya need to buy a proper D1 to D3 kickstart arm that looks like it's for a d10 or so! Ya need a gearbox cap bolt too!

Replaced the clutch drum and pinion, and problem solved. Slippage was occurring in the ratchet teeth between the kickstart pinion and the back of the clutch drum.
