From my experience lurking on shared KZbin/Twitch accounts I would expect something like 1 Twitch sub for every 100-300 KZbin subs if I wanted to go down that path. Even (IMO) the most talented Twitch streamers I watch fight to stay above 500 subs. One I'm thinking of in particular (NorthernLion) streams at 3 hour intervals 4 times a week, and produces youtube content full-time. He's been streaming on that schedule for years and didn't even break past the 500 barrier that long ago.

Uberanium I agree. And besides, it certainly isn't very expensive to have a KZbin channel with decent technical quality and make content part-time at first. I'd venture to guess that he already has a decent PC, he also has a decent camera he filmed the Kickstarter video with. You can get a good mic from Blue, or maybe something even cheaper, used, but still good. Y'know, some channels I watch started out with used equipment and were doing just fine.
